Historic Background

The discoverer of the element Ruthenium is Karl Karlovich Klaus in mid 1850's. The discovery was made when he broke down the Element Platnium and found 6 grams of a new element which he named Ruthenium. Klaus gave credit to two of the more earlier scientists who were Jöns Berzelius and Gottfried Osann who were on the verge of discovering it but didn't.
